Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Spirit of Justice for Nintendo 3DS

About Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Spirit of Justice for Nintendo 3DS

Spirit of Justice splits its story between two lands. Phoenix Wright travels to the kingdom of Khura'in, a deeply religious country where lawyers have been driven out and verdicts rest on the Divination Seance, a ritual that shows a victim's final moments through the eyes of a spirit medium princess. Defending anyone there is treated as a grave crime, yet Phoenix steps into court anyway. Back home, Apollo Justice and Athena Cykes hold the fort at the Wright Anything Agency, taking cases of their own while an old revolution quietly gathers strength abroad.

Courtroom battles remain the heart of the game. You press witnesses, present evidence and hunt for the one contradiction that cracks each testimony wide open. The Divination Seance adds a fresh twist, asking you to compare a witness's final sensations against their spoken words and find where the two disagree. Athena's Mood Matrix returns for spotting hidden emotions, and forensic tools like fingerprint checks join the investigation sections. The cases grow bigger and more personal as they build toward a finale about justice, family and the courage to stand up in a hostile court.

Buying Phoenix Wright fresh today is, sadly, no longer an option. It was a digital only release, and the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, ending new digital purchases for good. There is no physical cartridge edition either. The players who bought it before the closure can still access their purchased games on their own systems, and they are the lucky keepers of this one now.

The courtroom has rarely felt this dangerous, or this alive.
