Nobunaga no Yabou 2 for Nintendo 3DS
About Nobunaga no Yabou 2 for Nintendo 3DS
Nobunaga no Yabou 2 brings the long running strategy series about the unification of Japan to the Nintendo 3DS. You take the role of a daimyo in the Sengoku era, when rival warlords fought over a divided land. Famous names fill the map, from Oda Nobunaga himself to the officers who served and opposed him. Your aim is simple to state and hard to earn. Grow your domain, outthink your rivals and bring the whole country under one banner.
Each turn mixes domestic care with military planning. You develop towns and farms, manage officers, forge alliances and choose the right season to march. Battles demand attention to terrain, troop strength and the talents of your commanders, while diplomacy can win what swords cannot. The 3DS version keeps the classic systems approachable in portable sessions, letting a long campaign unfold a few turns at a time. History fans will enjoy how faithfully the era and its larger than life figures are treated.

The shop door is closed, but the game is not lost. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play now is a physical cartridge from a retailer, new or used. People who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games, which keeps old libraries alive and well.
A small gem that deserves a place in any collection.
