Nintendo Land for Nintendo Wii U

About Nintendo Land for Nintendo Wii U

Nintendo Land turns the Wii U GamePad into the star of a bright theme park packed with twelve attractions. Each attraction celebrates a beloved Nintendo series, including Zelda, Metroid, Donkey Kong and Animal Crossing. A robot guide named Monita welcomes you to the plaza, where coins, prizes and music fill the air. Some attractions are solo tests of skill, while others shine with friends gathered around the television. As the pack in showcase for the console, it taught a generation what the GamePad could do.

The variety is the magic. In one game the GamePad player plays a ghost hunting four friends in Luigi's Ghost Mansion, a simple idea that creates endless laughter and shouting. Metroid Blast lets one player fly the gunship using the GamePad screen while others fight on foot. Zelda Battle Quest turns archery and swordplay into a cooperative journey. Solo attractions like Donkey Kong's Crash Course test patience and precision with tilt controls. Miiverse stamps and plaza prizes reward regular visits, and the park always feels alive.

An honest buying note for this Wii U classic. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play now is a physical disc through a retailer, and it remains one of the easiest Wii U discs to find. Players who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their console. For party nights, few discs work harder.

Twelve attractions, endless living room laughter.
