Ninja JaJaMaru kun: Sakura hime to Karyu no Himitsu for Nintendo 3DS
About Ninja JaJaMaru kun: Sakura hime to Karyu no Himitsu for Nintendo 3DS
Ninja JaJaMaru kun Sakura hime to Karyu no Himitsu brings back one of the classic ninja heroes of Japanese gaming. JaJaMaru is a small ninja with a big heart, and this adventure sends him to rescue Princess Sakura from the clutches of demon forces. The story leans into old folk tale charm, with haunted places, mischievous spirits and brave rescues. Long time fans will enjoy seeing the hero in a fuller adventure, while new players get a friendly slice of ninja history.
You run, jump and throw shuriken through side scrolling stages full of yokai inspired enemies. Careful timing matters more than brute force, as foes pop out of pots, roofs and dark corners. Power ups and helpful items reward players who search each stage instead of rushing to the exit. Boss fights close out each area with bigger threats that test the skills you have built. The presentation keeps a light and playful tone even when the demons grow fierce, making it welcoming for younger ninja fans too.

You can still join the fun with a little hunting. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play now is a physical cartridge from a retailer, and stock turns up often in game shops. Owners who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their Nintendo 3DS.
For the right player, this one still shines today.
