Neko Tomo for Nintendo 3DS

About Neko Tomo for Nintendo 3DS

Neko Tomo is a gentle communication game about living with a talking cat. Your cat greets you each day, asks simple questions and slowly learns new words from your conversations together. Over time its speech grows richer, its room fills with small treasures and the two of you build a quiet daily friendship. The game comes from the team behind a beloved talking companion series, and it carries the same warm idea, that a small virtual friend who listens can make a handheld feel like home.

You speak to your cat through simple choices and short spoken phrases, and it answers in a sweet synthesized voice, repeating new words as it learns them. Dressing your cat in outfits, decorating its room and playing small games together fill the days, while seasonal events and visits from other cats keep the routine fresh. There is no winning or losing here at all.

One honest note for new players. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. Seek out a physical cartridge from a retailer and check its condition before you pay. This companion title was a Japanese retail release, so import copies are the normal find, and its spoken play naturally works best for Japanese speakers. Players who bought it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games without any trouble.

Teach it a word today and hear it proudly use it tomorrow.
