Need for Speed Most Wanted U for Nintendo Wii U

About Need for Speed Most Wanted U for Nintendo Wii U

Need for Speed Most Wanted U puts you in the open city of Fairhaven, where every street is a racetrack and every cop is watching. Your goal is simple to say and hard to do: beat the ten Most Wanted drivers and claim the top spot on the list. Nearly every car is available early, parked around the city waiting for a driver. You just find a car you like, hop in and drive. The Wii U edition added features shaped around the GamePad, making this a strong home for the game.

Racing here is fast, wild and free flowing. Events include sprints, circuit races and ambush escapes where police swarm your car. Ramming rivals, drifting corners and finding hidden jumps all earn Speed Points that upgrade your ride. The GamePad screen can switch day to night, change your car, show the map and even calm or stir up traffic, which feels like a secret co driver mode when a friend holds it. Local play tweaks add family friendly options without losing the thrill.

An honest note about buying this racer today. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play now is a physical disc through a retailer, and used copies are still fairly common. Players who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their console. Online services have ended, yet the solo city remains wide open.

Fairhaven rewards drivers who never lift off.
