Monster Hunter Rise is an action role playing game developed and published by Capcom. It launched on Nintendo Switch in March 2021 and later came to PC and other consoles. You are a hunter in Kamura Village, a colorful settlement threatened by the Rampage, an event where waves of monsters attack at once. With help from the village, you take on quests, track huge monsters, and craft stronger gear from the parts you earn.

Rise adds the Wirebug, a tool that lets you swing through the air, climb walls, and use powerful Silkbind attacks. Palamute dog companions join the returning Palico cats, and you can ride your Palamute across the map to save time. The maps have no loading screens between areas, hunts feel fast, and Rampage quests add a tower defense style mode where you defend the village gates with the whole crew. Fourteen weapon types return, so every play style has a home.
