Midnight for Nintendo Wii U

About Midnight for Nintendo Wii U

Midnight is a small and striking puzzle platformer painted in black and white. You guide a tiny glowing square through dark stages where light is scarce and danger hides in every shadow. The square is on a journey across a moonlit world, and the simple shapes and quiet mood give the game a dreamlike feel. There is no long story to read, just a little light pressing forward through the dark, one careful level at a time.

Levels ask you to roll and slide the square toward the goal while avoiding traps that punish careless moves. Timing matters, because moving hazards cross your path in steady patterns that reward patience and close watching. The challenge grows stage by stage, adding new obstacles that turn simple rooms into neat brain teasers. Deaths are quick and restarts instant, which keeps frustration low and curiosity high. It is a tiny game, but its mood and clean design make it linger in the memory.

Modern buyers should start with the disc shelf. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023, ending new digital purchases across the console. A physical disc from a retailer is the honest way to play it now, and copies turn up often in second hand shops. Players who bought it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games as before.

Stay patient, little light, and the dawn will find you.
