Master Reboot for Nintendo Wii U

About Master Reboot for Nintendo Wii U

Master Reboot is a first person adventure set inside the Soul Cloud, a vast server where people's memories and souls are stored after death. Something has gone wrong in this digital afterlife, and a strange figure stalks you through floating islands built from the memories of the dead. Each island belongs to one life, showing childhood homes, fairgrounds and quiet personal moments in a glowing wireframe style. It is eerie, sad and quietly unlike anything else on the system.

Exploring means solving light puzzles, finding memory fragments and piecing together whose life you are walking through. Stealth and chase moments break the calm when the virus hunting you appears, turning quiet halls into panic. Collecting blue ducks and documents fills in the wider story of the Soul Cloud and its creator. The game moves between wonder and dread with ease, and its ending lands with real feeling. Players who enjoy story first adventures will find a haunting little gem here.

A little realism helps when buying today. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible on the system. A physical disc from a retailer is the honest option now, and Wii U discs tend to be affordable. If you bought it digitally before the closure, you can still access your purchased games at home.

Log in, look around and treat every memory with care.
