Mario & Luigi Paper Jam Bros for Nintendo 3DS

About Mario & Luigi Paper Jam Bros for Nintendo 3DS

When Luigi accidentally knocks over a magical book in the castle library, paper characters spill into the Mushroom Kingdom and cause instant chaos. Paper Bowser teams up with the real Bowser, Princess Peach is captured twice over, and Mario and Luigi gain an unlikely ally in Paper Mario. This European named version of Paper Jam tells a light and funny story about two worlds colliding, told through the witty writing the series is loved for.

Battles mix classic turn based commands with timing based attacks and dodges, and Paper Mario adds copy tricks that let him multiply himself for stronger moves. The big set pieces are Papercraft battles, where the brothers ride giant paper creations and charge into enemies in arena fights. Trio attacks and trio grabs expand what the team can do in the field, from flying as a paper plane to smashing through barriers. It is colorful, silly and full of ideas from start to finish.

If you want this European edition today, plan for a cartridge hunt. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, which means new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play now is a physical cartridge from a retailer, and this Bros edition was the standard boxed release across Europe and Australia. People who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games and revisit the paper chaos whenever they like.

Two worlds, three heroes and jokes on every page.
