Jett Rocket II: The Wrath of Taikai for Nintendo 3DS

About Jett Rocket II: The Wrath of Taikai for Nintendo 3DS

Jett Rocket II: The Wrath of Taikai brings back the young hero Jett, whose peaceful world is once again threatened by the villainous General Taikai and his army of machines. Armed with his trusty jet pack, Jett sets off across islands, factories and skies to stop the invasion before it spreads. The game mixes side scrolling stages with fully 3D levels, giving the adventure a variety that keeps each new area feeling fresh. Bright colors and cheerful music keep the tone light even as Taikais robots grow bolder with every stage you clear.

Jet pack boosts carry Jett over wide gaps and up to hidden ledges, while ground stages focus on tight jumps, enemy bouncing and careful timing. The 3D sections open the space up, letting you explore, collect bolts and hunt for secret exits in more open arenas. Boss battles close out each world with big machines that demand pattern learning and quick reactions. Controls are responsive and the difficulty climbs fairly, making it welcoming for newcomers yet satisfying for platformer veterans. Finding every collectible adds a good reason to replay favorite levels.
