How to Train Your Dragon 2 for Nintendo 3DS

About How to Train Your Dragon 2 for Nintendo 3DS

How to Train Your Dragon 2 is an adventure game based on the animated film, set in the Viking village of Berk where dragons and people now live as partners. Hiccup and his Night Fury, Toothless, lead a cast of young riders who spend their days racing, exploring islands and preparing for trouble on the horizon. The game captures the film joy of flight, with wide skies and sea stacks waiting beyond the village.

Most of your time is spent in the air. You ride different dragons, each with its own feel, and take part in races, flying challenges and rescue tasks around Berk and nearby islands. Exploring rewards curious riders with hidden spots and collectibles, while story missions follow the riders as danger approaches their home. The controls keep flying simple for younger players, and the bond between rider and dragon stays at the heart of every activity the game offers. Young riders can also replay favorite races to earn better results and new rewards.

Physical hunting is the story for this title nowadays. With the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed since March 2023, digital buying is a thing of the past. Try a retailer or a respected used games shop for a physical cartridge in good condition. Anyone who bought it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games whenever they like. Checking the cartridge label and region first saves trouble later.

It remains a fine reason to revisit the system.
