Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX: Mix Edition for Nintendo 3DS

About Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX: Mix Edition for Nintendo 3DS

Hatsune Miku Project Mirai DX Mix Edition is a version of the chibi Vocaloid rhythm game as listed for Nintendo 3DS. It centers on the same joyful idea as the DX release, with Miku, Rin, Len, Luka, Kaito and Meiko performing fan favorite songs in cute nendoroid style. Bright stages, playful dances and a kind presentation make it a welcoming rhythm game for Vocaloid fans and curious players alike on the handheld system.

Songs play with button presses or touch screen taps, and difficulty choices let each player find a fair level of challenge. Costumes and room items reward clearing songs, while time in the singer rooms adds a calm break between performances. Watching your favorite singer dance in a costume you chose is a simple delight that keeps fans coming back. As with the other Project Mirai titles, the heart of the game is love for these songs and characters.

Finding a copy today takes a little care. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible for Hatsune Miku. The honest way to play now is to look for a physical cartridge from a retailer or a trusted games shop. People who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their system, just as before. Checking the cartridge label and box art before buying helps you be sure you have the right version for your region.

It remains a memorable part of the Nintendo 3DS library.
