Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai Deluxe for Nintendo 3DS

About Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai Deluxe for Nintendo 3DS

Hatsune Miku Project Mirai Deluxe is the expanded edition of the chibi Vocaloid rhythm game. It builds on Project Mirai 2 with more songs, more costumes and extra features, while keeping the cute nendoroid style that made the series feel fresh on Nintendo 3DS. Miku and her fellow singers perform with toy like charm, and the whole package feels like a celebration of Vocaloid culture at its most cheerful and colorful.

The rhythm play still offers button and touch options across several difficulty levels, so beginners and experts both find a fair challenge. New songs join returning favorites, and the costume list grows long enough to dress each singer for every stage mood. Room features and small extras give fans quiet moments with the cast between performances. As the fuller edition, Deluxe is the version most fans in Japan would point to as the complete Project Mirai experience on the system.

It is worth knowing how sales work for this title today. With the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed since March 2023, new digital purchases are no longer possible. A physical cartridge from a retailer is the honest way to play Hatsune Miku now, and complete copies are prized by collectors. People who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games as usual. Playing on original hardware keeps the touch screen and 3D features working exactly as the makers intended.

It still stands as a small gem of the Nintendo 3DS years.
