Gundam Try Age SP for Nintendo 3DS
About Gundam Try Age SP for Nintendo 3DS
Gundam Try Age SP brings the Japanese arcade card game Gundam Try Age to Nintendo 3DS. Players build teams of mobile suits and pilots from across Gundam history, from the original series to Gundam Build Fighters Try. Cards decide your team strength and special moves, and battles play out with dramatic attacks on the touch screen. For Gundam fans, seeing suits from different eras fight side by side is the main event.
You collect cards through play and build decks that balance cost, power and pilot skills. Battles ask you to time attacks and defenses while managing a gauge that fuels special moves. Story missions follow scenes inspired by the shows, and stronger rivals demand better decks over time. The SP edition packs the arcade idea into a home game, letting fans enjoy the collection and battles without visiting a Japanese arcade.

Buying this one now works a little differently than it once did. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, which means new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play Gundam Try Age SP today is a physical cartridge from a retailer. Anyone who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games, so early owners are not locked out of their collection. Prices can vary a lot between shops, so it is worth comparing a few sellers before you decide on a copy.
It still holds a warm place in the Nintendo 3DS library.
