Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove 3D for Nintendo 3DS
About Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove 3D for Nintendo 3DS
Gabrielles Ghostly Groove 3D is a rhythm adventure for Nintendo 3DS starring Gabrielle, a kind young ghoul who accidentally sneezes her soul right out of her body. To get it back, she must help the quirky residents of Monster Town and gather scream energy through dance. The cast is full of friendly monsters, vampires and witches, and the whole game feels like a cute Halloween party that never gets scary. Gabrielle herself is a charming heroine, polite even when things get spooky.
Dancing is the heart of the game. You follow the beat and the on screen cues with taps and slides, building combos as Gabrielle performs for each monster she helps. Story scenes between dances give every character a little problem to solve, from lost items to stage fright, and solving them through rhythm keeps the pace sweet and varied. Costumes and accessories let you dress Gabrielle up between performances. The music is catchy and light, making this an easy rhythm game to enjoy in short, happy sessions.

Rhythm fans today should know the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. A physical cartridge from a retailer is the honest way to join the dance now, though this one was a smaller release. Players who bought Gabrielles Ghostly Groove 3D digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their Nintendo 3DS, keeping Gabrielle and Monster Town ready for another performance whenever they like.
Sweet, spooky and always ready for one more dance.
