Fossil Fighters: Frontier for Nintendo 3DS

About Fossil Fighters: Frontier for Nintendo 3DS

Fossil Fighters Frontier takes the dinosaur collecting series on the road for Nintendo 3DS. You join the Wardens, a group that protects parks where revived dinosaurs called vivosaurs roam, and travel the world in a custom vehicle digging for fossils. Every rock you clean could hold a new species to revive, name and raise for battle. The mix of exploring, digging and fighting gives the game a flavor all its own among monster collecting adventures on the system.

Digging is a hands on mini game where you chip rock away carefully to avoid damaging the fossil, and better cleaning means a stronger vivosaur. In battle, teams of dinosaurs fight with elemental strengths, support skills and flashy special moves. Your vehicle matters too, since better machines reach new dig sites and tougher wild vivosaurs. Friends can explore and battle together locally, and the cheerful story keeps the journey light. Collecting a full team of favorite dinosaurs can happily fill many long afternoons of play.

Dino fans buying today should note the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. A physical cartridge from a retailer is the honest way to start digging now. Players who bought Fossil Fighters Frontier digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their Nintendo 3DS, so their vivosaur teams and dig progress stay safe in their own library, ready for the next expedition into the parks.

Dig carefully, revive bravely and battle with dinosaurs.
