Elminage Ibun Ame no Mihashira Kai for Nintendo 3DS
About Elminage Ibun Ame no Mihashira Kai for Nintendo 3DS
Elminage Ibun Ame no Mihashira Kai is a Japanese dungeon role playing game in the Elminage series, a line known for old school first person exploration. Parties of adventurers enter dark labyrinths where every corridor must be mapped with care and every chest could hide danger. The setting draws on Japanese myth, giving this side chapter its own flavor beside the main series.
You build a party from many races and classes, manage spells and supplies, and take careful steps through floors full of traps and strong monsters. Turn based battles reward preparation, and returning to town to heal, revive and regroup is part of the rhythm veterans love. As a Japan only release in Japanese text, it is aimed at dedicated dungeon fans and collectors of the series. The presentation makes smart use of the two screens, keeping maps, menus and useful details in view without slowing the action down.

Playing it today starts with understanding one change. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, and new digital purchases are no longer possible on the system. Today the sensible route is a physical cartridge, found through a retailer, a game shop or a trusted second hand seller who describes the condition honestly. Earlier digital owners are in a better spot, since people who bought the game before the closure can still access their purchased games.
Seek out a good cartridge and you will find a game worth keeping.
