Bugs vs Tanks for Nintendo 3DS

About Bugs vs Tanks for Nintendo 3DS

Bugs vs Tanks comes from the Guild02 collection and carries a wild idea from famous designer Keiji Inafune. During the Second World War, a German tank squad is shrunk to the size of insects and must survive in a world where every bug is now a giant monster. Ants, spiders and mantises tower over your tiny armor like living fortresses. The premise is playful science fiction, yet the survival mood is real. Few games on the system mix history, humor and giant insects this boldly.

You command your tank from a third person view, rolling through grass and dirt that now feels like an alien jungle. A neat auto aim assist lets you focus on movement and timing while your turret tracks the huge insects. Fallen allies can be rescued, parts can be gathered and your tank grows stronger between sorties. Missions are short and varied, from hunting a set number of bugs to defending a position. The scale tricks never get old, with a simple beetle feeling like a boss fight.

This Guild02 gem is now found through physical channels. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play now is a physical cartridge from a retailer, and the Guild collections received boxed releases in Japan worth importing. Players who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their system. Western physical copies are rare, so expect a hunt.

It is a tiny tank adventure with a giant sized imagination.
