Bravely Default: Flying Fairy for Nintendo 3DS

About Bravely Default: Flying Fairy for Nintendo 3DS

Flying Fairy is the original Japanese edition of Bravely Default, the role playing adventure that later traveled around the world. Its subtitle hides a famous secret that sharp eyed players spotted in the letters themselves, a hint at the darker twists inside the story. The quest is the same beloved journey of Agnes, Tiz, Edea and Ringabel, four heroes restoring the elemental crystals of Luxendarc. For collectors and series historians, this first form of the game holds a special place on the shelf.

Everything that made the game famous began here. The Brave and Default commands let you store turns or spend several at once in risky bursts of attacks. More than twenty jobs, from white mage to dark knight, can be mixed into personal builds with support abilities from other roles. Touch screen and StreetPass features helped rebuild Tiz village of Norende, unlocking shops and rare items. Seeing the systems in their first form shows how bold the design was from the very start.

This Japanese first edition is a collector hunt today. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible. The honest way to play now is a physical cartridge from a retailer who sells Japanese games. Players who bought the game digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games on their system. Note that Japanese cartridges only run on Japanese systems, so check your hardware first.

It is the first form of a classic, treasured by series fans.
