Bayonetta 2 for Nintendo Wii U

About Bayonetta 2 for Nintendo Wii U

Bayonetta 2 brings the famous witch back for an even bigger adventure. When a summoning goes wrong, the soul of her friend Jeanne is dragged down to hell, and Bayonetta has only one day to save her. The journey crosses a holy mountain caught between heaven, hell and the human world. New friends and old rivals appear along the way, and the mystery of Bayonetta past deepens with every chapter. The whole adventure is brighter, faster and even more spectacular than the first game, which is saying a lot.

The combat builds on everything that made the original great. Witch Time returns, and the new Umbran Climax mode powers up every attack with giant demon summons for short bursts of total chaos. Fights take place on fighter jets, on top of trains and against angels the size of buildings. A cooperative mode lets two players battle waves together and bet halos on their skills.

The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Wii U closed in March 2023, so buying a fresh digital copy is no longer an option today. The honest way to enjoy it now is a physical disc from a retailer who still stocks Wii U games. If you picked it up digitally before the closure, you can still access your purchased games on your console, since earlier purchases remain tied to your account and ready to play whenever you switch the system on.

It earns its place in any Wii U collection.
