AeternoBlade for Nintendo 3DS

About AeternoBlade for Nintendo 3DS

AeternoBlade follows Freyja, a young warrior whose village was destroyed by the dark lord Beladim. Armed with the Aeterno Blade, a weapon that can bend time, she crosses a ruined world to make him pay. The story mixes sorrow and determination as Freyja meets allies, uncovers the truth about her blade and grows from a grieving survivor into a true threat to the darkness that ruined her life.

Combat is fast side scrolling action with combos, air juggles and special moves to unlock as Freyja grows stronger. The time powers set the game apart: you can rewind your own mistakes in a fight, freeze moments to pass deadly traps and solve puzzles that play with cause and effect. Relics boost your abilities, and big bosses test everything you have learned. It is a meaty action adventure for players who like their platforming with teeth. Handheld play suits the stage sizes well, and unlocking Freyja’s full move set turns early simple fights into stylish combo showcases by the late game.

Freyja’s quest is a physical find today. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, ending new digital purchases for this action game. A physical copy from a retailer is the honest way to play now. Players who bought it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games and rewind time at will.

A fierce and clever action adventure built around time itself.
