3D Super Hang On for Nintendo 3DS

About 3D Super Hang On for Nintendo 3DS

3D Super Hang On puts you on a roaring motorcycle for a tour of the world, racing the clock across Africa, Asia, America and Europe. Each continent is a longer and harder course than the last, full of sweeping bends, tight turns and rival riders hogging the racing line. This 3DS version of the arcade favorite adds smooth 3D depth and even lets you tilt the system to steer, which makes every lean feel physical.

The rules are pure arcade: reach each checkpoint before the timer runs dry or the run ends. Your turbo boost is saved for the straights, because using it in a corner is a quick trip to the scenery. Rival bikes must be passed with care, since one touch can cost you the seconds you need. Finishing a continent unlocks the next, and the world tour mode strings all four into one ultimate test of nerve and throttle control. The music deserves a mention as well, with breezy tunes that somehow make even a failed run feel like a holiday gone slightly wrong.

Riders today should look for the cartridge release. The Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS closed in March 2023, so new digital purchases are no longer possible for this version. A physical copy from a retailer is the honest way to race now. Anyone who bought it digitally before the closure can still access their purchased games whenever the road calls.

Arcade biking at its purest, now with real depth in every bend.
